We are thrilled to celebrate with Generations Church in Eugene, OR! On Sunday, March 17th, 17 people were baptized into Jesus! It’s incredible to see all that God is already accomplishing in this community that’s less than 3 months old! You can visit Generations Church Instagram for even more photos!
While most of the people taking the step of baptism this last weekend were college students that are a part of Salt Co. campus ministry, Lead Pastor, Sol Rexius also got to baptize his mom! She has been a follower of Jesus for many years, but had never taken the step of baptism as an adult! Getting to baptize your mom is pretty special! Congratulations everyone!
However, Seattle does have significant challenges. Homelessness, gentrification, and racial disunity are real problems. There is a widening gap that exists between those on their way up and those being displaced.
This is our collective prayer for all those baptized this week…
“So then, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in him, being rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing with gratitude.” ~ Colossians 2:6-7
Congratulations to FACC for 28 years!
Also on Sunday, March 17th, the Filipino-American Christian Church celebrated their 28th Anniversary as a church! FACC was established in 1996 with the help of The CEA. This is a vibrant community led by Filipino Americans in North Central Seattle.
Congratulations to FACC for your faithfulness and dedication to sharing the gospel and discipling young leaders with each generation!
Help us Plant Churches in the PNW.
Whether you are a planter or a partner, our vision is to establish 50 healthy, multiplying churches throughout the Pacific Northwest within the next 10 years, including at least 10 churches led by leaders that are developed and sent out from Evergreen Network churches.
