What Makes Us Different?
Our 3 Distinctives
01
We Are Exclusively Focused in the PNW
With a longstanding ministry in the Pacific Northwest, we feel called to exclusively steward our resources in this region, which has fewer churches and followers of Jesus compared to other parts of the United States.
02
We are Highly Selective of Leaders
We recruit and carefully select leaders who have the character, competency and experience to start healthy and multiplying churches in our complex context.
03
We Build Strong Partnerships
Through collaborative efforts we bring together multiple church partners and other organizations to provide coaching, accountability, leadership and financial resources to realize the church planters vision.

OUR HISTORY
In 1961, as Seattle was erecting the Space Needle in preparation for the World’s Fair the following year, 27 visionary Kingdom leaders from around the Puget Sound came together.
Their dream was to create a network to reach the region with the Gospel of Christ through the establishment of new churches patterned after the New Testament. Evergreen (formerly CEA) was born. Since 1961, over 60 new churches have been established in the Pacific Northwest.
