Grand Opening In Seattle Sunday, September 29th!
One Church will hold their Grand Opening Services on Sunday, September 29th at the Historic Nippon Kan Theatre in the International District! Filmore & Caitlin Bouldes and their team have been bringing together a beautifully diverse and energetic community since they began their process last Fall.
Initially, they were gathering with their core team on Sundays in a warehouse space in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. But this summer they began to outgrow that space and realized they needed to find something new before they invited their neighbors and the greater community to join them! They entered into an agreement to meet at the recently renovated theatre last month. It is an amazing theatre that will provide ample worship space and children’s ministry space that they were lacking before. The theatre was founded in the 1909 and welcomed Japanese settlers through Kabuki performances. You can read about the theatre and the recent renovations via the link above.
The Bouldes have built their community through dinner parties, relational events and dynamic worship nights. They are a really inviting couple that does a great job of empowering others to lead in ministry. They have established a really talented and committed team. We can’t wait to see how God uses them in the coming months as they introduce themselves to Seattle and create more discipleship pathways!

We are eager to share updates in the coming months about several additional new projects scheduled to hold their grand openings over the next year! Here is who is up next:
Mario & Jamie Romero are establishing a micro-church community in Caldwell, ID with plans to hold their first United Gathering (a collective of their micro communities) in January of 2025. The Romeros are doing a really great job of discipling their core and preparing them to be disciple makers. They have a very healthy group that is already beginning to multiply!
Zeb & Leah Greenfield just started their year of preparation. They have been busy holding interest meetings at their current church in Renton, WA, asking others to join their team in establishing a new church in Tukwila, WA! They have an eye on October of 2025 for their grand opening Sunday! We are currently helping them build their partnership team and a solid financial base.
Our newest relationship is with Tim & Vanessa Coburn who plan to establish a new church in the SE Portland area in the Fall of 2025. Tim and Vanessa are just getting started and come to Portland after successfully establishing a healthy, multiplying church in Sacramento, CA. We are excited to invite the Coburns to the Evergreen tribe!
