EJ and Rachel Brown know what it is like not being a part of a church family. Neither grew up in Christian homes. As a result, EJ and Rachel have a deep understanding of God’s redemptive love and they have a deep desire for others to experience this love.  We began our journey with the Browns in the Fall of 2023. EJ and Rachel felt a stirring from the Holy Spirit to plant a church in Tacoma, WA. During a site visit to see what God was up to in the region, God confirmed hat he was calling them to birth something new in the Lakewood area.

Influencing those around them with Love, Grace, and Truth is the family mantra EJ and Rachel live by. They desire to establish a new church that bridges the Kingdom to the culture. They see the South Tacoma/Lakewood area as a place that will make this vision a reality, as it is the most culturally and generationally diverse area in all of Pierce County.

The Browns are in the process of equipping their launch team and will begin weekly worship services in January with their growing core. They plan to hold their first “public worship service” on Easter Sunday of 2025.
